We were back in Antibes Sunday and popped into Graze, a vegan restaurant run by former Californian (and Vegan Epicure Travel podcast guest) Ivy Dai. The food here is marketed as "California" style, which in this case means fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and main dishes built on local, organic produce. We each had a juice--one "Balance" (beet, apple, lemon) and one "Recharge" (orange, carrot, ginger). We also tried the Thai Burger, an interesting uncooked fruit and veggie patty, and the daily special (pictured here), a Mexican wrapped stuffed with greens, corn, beans, and salsa. Vegan Epicure Travel co-founder Aurelia d'Andrea first discovered Antibes almost a decade ago while working on her first guidebook for Moon Guides called Living Abroad in France. Back then, there was just one veggie restaurant (now closed and replaced with another veggie restaurant!), and now there are three, plus many more veg-friendly spots that make dining here as a vegan really easy. Looking forward to our next dining adventure here!
